<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"-->IN an 'election' of a different kind, it was political newbies like Ms Eunice Olsen and Mr Teo Ser Luck who trumped ministers with decades of experience.
The New Paper on Sunday polled 100 people on who they thought was the best looking politician in Singapore.
Ms Olsen, a Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) was the top tanked among women with 29 votes, but Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, beat her to the top spot with 30 votes.
Mr Teo, Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Community Development, Youth and Sports) got 11 votes while Dr Lily Neo, NMP for Jalan Besar had eight votes. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mr Baey Yam Keng, MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC took six votes each.
