Fasting once
Kids these days love their bubble tea, and put cheese and salted egg on almost everything.

Fasting will solve those health problems. Not the Ramadan 12-hour intermittent binge eating kind of 'fasting'. I mean at least 2-3 days without eating any food. The 48-hour mark is when those health benefits start to kick in.

Cheese and salted egg?I thought salted egg is something the older generations eat.....it's kind of asiany and frankly the only place u will find it is at the zhi char stall.

One of the factor largely overlooked in my opinion is the viscosity of your blood in hyper tensions ...this is mainly due to diet of yours ...but medical doctors will attribute this to your greater intake of salt , particularly chinese food which uses the Soya souce in almost each and every food

hence , those case supposedly to have improved because of exercise and etc is more likely because change of diet and change of life style that have actually improved your blood viscosity ...hence it was a total mistake to treat it with beta blockers or ACE inhibitors in the first place , change of diet with lesser salt intake would have done the job or even blood thinner or supplement such as garlic or ginger extracts would also do , since they are nature’s blood thinner

that’s where a trigger happy young doc, who prescribes for any darn thing and not understanding the nature of your livelihood does more harm than good

Does drinking loads of water lower the viscosity of our blood?

Nope , on the contrary , greater the water in your system , the greater your BP , ask any kidney doctor and they will tell you as a fact ...In fact even LKY mentioned this in one of his speech ...if my memory serves right , it was on one of his talk on China , LKY went on gulping chinese tea and a Tiong told him don’t you know this gonna increase your BP ? But if you have a healthy kidney than it should do the job but most don’t therein lies the problem ... remember , excess water increase your BP and dehydration lowers your BP, both are equally bad

Since , there is a lot of folks here quite scared to shit about BP n diabetic and each expanding their craps , let me give my 2 cents worth ...talking about HbA1c or Haemoglobin A1 c , is a Long term reading of your sugar level say over 3 months sort of an average rather than a instantaneous done by glucometers ,,,this is what our resident doctor @ nayr69sg recommended as the golden rule ? But is it ? Why ? Suppose , your sugar level swings extremely from say 20 at upper and 3 at nights , your average will still be pretty good by HbAc1 done since it’s an average thingy but escapes your terrible terrible health situation ...so an instantaneous glucometer tests done at the right time gives you a far more better readings , like one before your breakfast and others just before your meal and 1 just before you go to sleep and better if 1 done at 3 or 4 AM ... but docs don’t have the time to monitor you like this unless you are hospitalised ...

and suppose if you go to the doctor very dehydrated and your blood pressure reading is rather good , is that any good ? Nope, certainly not because doctors these days do not divthings like what older doctors did .,,how many of you remember the olden days when your family doctor who did house calls ask you to stick your tongue out ? That’s checking your dehydration , simply not done by young doctors anymore ...so older doctors also checked the state of your body condition along with BP and others ...whreas young Doctors totally relies on machine readings

myself have been hospitalised and one thing I observed was the team of Doctors who visit you in the morning almost entirely look at the patient’s record in the computer than the patient himself , a total and over reliance on machine readings and not the state of how the patient is as of that time ...take note @ nayr69sg

Wat is wrong with animal fat? The main issue is the hydrogenated oils that are causing a problem
That’s another fallacy , how is it Eskimos who lives entirely on fat , fat and fat lives rather healthy ? It’s not what you eat but whether you can digest it well and burn it too

These chaps also dont eat carbs...n carbs are bad. I have cut down on rice n bread etc n my bp went down. As I said. Meat n vegetable..less sugar n salt n use good oils. Not the hydrogenated shit

Even that too is a fallacy , I mean the good and bad oil thingy ...do you know Indonesians by survey has the healthiest heart , and they consume everything and anything coconut including its oil but science says coconut oil very belly bad for you

are you on any medication?

If not then ok. The lower the better unless you feel dizzy or at risk of falls.

If you are on medication should consider reducing dose or going off the medication. Or if you are happy the way it is just continue.

Yes Dr.

Furosemide .
Amiodarone .
Entresto .
Spironolactone.

HBA1c is located hemoglobin.

We liken it to average glucose it is a different measure altogether.

It is called improvements in technology and science.

If you can do just 1 reading and test every
3 to 4 months versus daily readings.....

Sure you can still do daily and get by which is probably what they do in the 3rd world rural areas with no labs.

Like I said everyone wants to do what they want.

Which is why I have gone to medical cannabis.
