Anti-U Uni - chao cb...PRC student speaks English like fuck

I once saw a PRC trying to order his food in Mandarin to an Indian crew in Singapore KFC.

When the Indian crew tried to clarify the order in English, the PRC raised his voice impatiently as if the whole world must understand his brand of (strongly accented) Mandarin.

PRC Beijing Chinese is not accented. It's standard. Singapore Chinese is accented. Get the equation right. Just like London English is not accented. It's the standard. Then there're regional accents like Midlands or Northern, then there're international accents like US North or US South or Australian.

You guys are giving them too much expectation...

is English their first language or 2nd language?

can you speak fluent mandarin or your 2nd languages? :D

i m a ah neh but chinese is my 2nd language in since pr sch.

u wanna challenge my chinese power?

come lah.:D

Sinkie English is even worse! It's not just "accented", it's horrific!

why y say like that.

we speak better english than PRC.

we speak better chinese than ang mor.

its all about making the right comparisons. PAP best at this methology.

English may not be our mother tongue to many of us but trying to communicate with a PRC takes more then just patiences.

I have my fair brushes with these buggers and serious they are taking Singapore for a ride literally. They do not add any value to Singapore but more a burden to the citizens in many ways in life.

Most of these PRCs seriously can't communicate properly(verbal nor written) except in Mandarin in an English speaking country. Next will be the Pinoys/Pinays which their spoken English is even harder to comprehend than a FT Indian
.
Given the scenario , you would rather walk off (or burst your arteries at worst) trying to understand a PRC speaking non comprehensible broken English with a freaking cheap American slang of yesteryear.

Most of these PRC just do not want to integrate with our society and our government are just opening the floodgate to allow more of these trash in to worsen the situation.

hi there

1. blackmore, five thumbs up to you.

This is lack of self awareness.
His Mandarin may be the standard, but he should have realized that he was talking to a person who may not understand his language.
Not all PRC nationals are like that, I have met some PRC nationals in China who know very well their own strengths and weaknesses, and are always trying to better themselves, inccluding in spoken english.
Unfortunately, those that we get here are not like that.
