There are many interesting sites where you can join and share your views, ideas and knowledge.

I cannot guarantee that this particular site will be in existence beyond August and it depends on more members who wants to participate here. The mirror site is not moderated and quite a frisky place and survival there is not guaranteed. But if you have the guts and the smarts, you ought to stay out of trouble and give back as good as you got.

Come in from the cold and partake of the best that is in SBF and I am sure you will enjoy yourself. Read more about SBF in the FAQs and do not hesitate for we are eager to see more of you here.

You are referring to this moderated folder. When I mentioned the mirror site it was referring to new members that may not survive the rough and tumble environment. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment.

First to mod Windsor, this is a folder, not the site. I was a bit confused earlier too, as if the site (the whole SBF) is going to close. I can see that mods Windsor and Singveld working very hard to generate interest in this folder and increase membership for the whole forum. Keep up the good work and I'll support discussions here whenever I can.

Newbies are moderated. I also don't know what's the criteria to get into real-time. I've given you some points. Hope it helps. You've only posted a few posts but you're not bad.

There is a requirement that initially after being a member, you will undergo a short period of moderation. This means you need to make about 15 posts before you become a full fledged member. This is not a big deal is it?

The moderation of new members is under the purview of the Administrator and not by the normal Moderators of this forum (me included). Many forums also practise this.

I doubt this folder will survive for long. We need Sam to make a decision about whether it stays or otherwise.

if you seal it with a vapor barrier, air condition it with some ventilation, and keep it cool, dark and dry, you can stash vintage wine, prosciutto ham, cheese and crackers - and wine and dine in style in the middle of a war or crisis.

Some cronies benefited from having it incorporated when the flats were built. It is a stupid idea and cost owners unnecessary expenses.
