Community Health Awareness Day 2015 organised by WP Community Fund will take place tomorrow, 4 January 2015 at the void deck of Block 550, Bedok North Avenue 1 from 9.30am to 11.30am. There will be a workout conducted by a gym instructor followed by a nutrition talk. Refreshments would be made available to residents! If you happen to be in the vicinity, do drop by for a visit. Admission is free and all are welcome!

We worked up a sweat with a Bokwa fitness workout followed by an enriching talk on understanding food labels and nutrition tables. This event is first of a series organised by the WP Community Foundation, so look out and join in our next health event in April.

[Aljunied GRC, Our Heritage] Have a good start to the work year! In January, we featured the Tan Moh Hong Reptile Skin and Crocodile Farm. First established in 1945, this farm operated for more than 67 years and it closed in mid-2012. Today, the site will be redeveloped into a strata landed housing development.

Held annually by devotees, stallholders and residents of Kaki Bukit division, this is the third straight year that both Mr. Low and Mr. Faisal have graced the occasion on an invitation from the stallholders and market association. It is indeed a joy to bring a smile to the faces of the elderly. A big thank you to all who have put in the hard work to ensure a smooth and successful event.
