Late lunch at Sushi Hiro in The Promenade. Sushi Hiro is a chain of restaurants providing very high end Japanese sashimi. Prices can be steep but you are getting what you pay for - freshness, rarity, variety. However service usually is so so. Lets have a look at the restaurant and food.

Thais love to have Japanese food once can find most Fuji restaurants crowded all the time however Sushi Hiro is unlike these "fast food Fuji". Sushi Hiro is very authentic Japanese.

Had a simple lunch near Ban Nong Plab (25km to H Hin), en route to Monsoon Valley vineyard. 2 long benches, big contrast with nice vibes and settings you get to see here -you could almost say grotty setup. But famous for their somtam menu. With fried rice, tofu soup, pad see yu, chicken wings, and 5 som tams plus kopi or liang -total only thb430 (less than 20bucks).

Finally found it - Siang Kee Boiled Rice in business more than 90 years now 2nd generation 80+ still calling the shots

Love the chunkiness of the fish

Oyster clear soup is so pure, taste of the sea

Look how succulent it is

Taste so sweet

This is something that is lost no more in Singapore the way its prepared the taste and the freshness. On the expensive side but believe me its worth every cent.
