A Singaporean's guide to living in Thailand

Re: A Singaporean's guide to living in Thailand ? Feasible?

Had a 2 hr thai massage at Healthland Pattaya today.. surprisingly good... now having seafood dinner at Jomtien beach... anything resident bros can recommend?
Hi LeMans, welcome to the Sin City. For Italian food, I strongly recommend Pan Pan Italian Restaurant at Jomtien. For seafood, Nang Nual at Walking Street is good. No visit to Pattaya is complete if you skip walking street. BTW, where are you staying?

Re: A Singaporean's guide to living in Thailand ? Feasible?

35mins before takeoff I was still outside the immigtration hall maybe 80m to go before entering the messy hall. I decided to get to the aircrew/premium entrance and told the security that I had to hurry and he let me in. 10mins later I was out of there to my gate. Both halls are packed. Unbelievable.

Think you can apply for the APEC card at SG ICA and you can use the priority lane. The other type of card is call Elite Card by MOFA or Immigration.

Yes, APEC good for those who travel to LOS or other APEC countries frequently. Did not apply for one since I am in LOS most of the time.

Arrival also no good. I do recall queuing. Sg customs easier to clear. Then again sg is so much smaller so the number of visitors are lesser. Thailand is the most popular destination in SEA but still i say the thai customs didn't really do a good job lots of room for improvement.

Thonglor specialist just returned from Taipei. Basket, Monday and Tuesday public holidays, so super long weekend, so the trans-county buses were fully booked. I managed the get on to the last bus. Reach home at 3 am.

Welcome back to LOS. How's the airport situation? Any long queues? And any plans to visit the Sin City? ;)

Re: A Singaporean's guide to living in Thailand ? Feasible?

Looking for blank PVC ID cards (credit card size). Need about 100 pieces. Anyone know where can I get these in LOS? Can't find them in Pattaya.
