paiseh that i did not explain nam prik kapi. it's similar to belechan. usually eat with fied pla tu (something like ikan kuning).

this very common dish among locals but beware of the belachan. very spicy.

nam prik kapi sounds funny but looks really delicious.................

If tomatoes/mushrooms/cucumber are available there, having 1/2 slices will "balance" the breakfast with some veggies/fruit.

Looks aroi mak, also got nam som and kar fei... chorpe mak compared to my standard boiled oats and raisin breakfast. :-P

P.S. I like the way the knife/fork/spoon is wrapped using the paper serviette... Looks very classy.... :-)

And some baked potatoes and beans would have completed this breakfast.

Pee chon the breakfast looks so artistic did you eat it?
this is the requirement i set for my staff to follow. even if customer order a bottle of drinking water, i still serve with high end glass. one thing for sure, you wont find any plastic ware on the table.

hee is very crude.......though kapi is also a slang.....as with other languages.....there are 101 names for pussy........hoi (sellfish), jim, tuti.......all acceptable.

Told this story before, was in a baanook house (kampong house) friend's sister busy in kitchen cooking with mom and other women. Told sister loudly "sai nam hoi yuk yuk" everyone shocked stared at me. What I said was "put cunt juice more more". The right thing to say was "sai nam man hoi yuk yuk" meaning add more oyster sauce.
