A Singaporean's guide to living in Thailand

Not bad at all.

Arrived at 7.50am. Waited 5mins. Inspect car and paper work. Car went in at 8.10am. Took the car at 9.15am, serviced and thoroughly washed. This is Toyota Libra the only Toyota distributor owned by Japanese and run very professionally. They are always Toyota's top dealer in Thailand I was lucky to bump into them just because they are near my house.

I took mine for 220,000 km servicing last week. I told the mechanic to check for leaks and wear and tear on hoses, shock absorbers and bearings.

When I picked it up at the end of the day, all that he'd replaced was the oil and the transmission fluids. He said the rest of the car was fine.

I love my Toyota.

Cool. Ya love Toyota and Lexus always no headache even if problems occurs its always minor. Cost of servicing and maintenance for Toyota is pretty reasonable and I would say market rates when comparing to Honda and Mazda, I've heard Nissan is a little high. However when comparing Lexus to BMW and Merc and Audi, cost to maintain Lexus is very low while the 3 brands I mentioned are very high especially for Audi.

I always make appointment and always ask to be the fist in queue. Problem if you go later is the washing, washing is always the bottleneck.

Pii Chon I not sure about Pattaya na but I advise you to book the first in line 8am and go there at 7.45am. You will not regret. You see for me everything done in less than one and a quarter hour. If you so late be prepared to wait. Remembered once my car was serviced as promised within and hour but then after I could stand at the big glass window and see my car on the washing queue and I pity myself for having to wait so long for a wash.

Mai kee giat na pii

Hehehe. Gam sia gam sia.

Evening can? Afternoon I will be in Chonburi City till 4-5 pm.

Bad drivers exist in LOS too. Usually LOS drivers quite 'automatic' and will keep left. Occasionally, this type of road bully will hog the outer right lane. Can be frustrating to overtake from the left.
