Sawasdee krup. Good Saturday morning. Its 7.22am. I am so very happy because was able to sleep through the night. So should be able to overcome the jet lag easily.

Hehehe, what is the verdict? The serving looks big.

Seriously? Serving is not that big for American standard. Its good la just enough for the two of us not too much.

Re: A Singaporean\'s guide to living in Thailand

Ya only 3 more direct flights before it ends tomorrow to 30th. Lucky me. Hotel is just half a km from airport waited for free transfer for 40mins. Finally took taxi. Because its so near there is a minimum charge of US$20. Told staf about it during check-in and got the US$20 reimbursed. Not too bad.

Yah TG cannot make money on that route so they will be operating a 1-stop (incheon?) I believe. Can't believe you still sober after such a long flight cos if it was me, sure hit the bottle hard after the doors close

Very good that you got $20 comped. In the US, jai yen yen works too. BTW all taxis from LAX have a minimum charge of $19 ($15 + $4 surcharge). Even if you wanted to, you cannot walk from LAX to your hotel - there simply are no sidewalks. How I know? Tried it once :D

If you are super pro and know the neighborhood, you can take *any* hotel shuttle to/from LAX - there are several LAX airport hotels clustered on the same street next to each other (I've done this before too). These free shuttles you must call the hotel and ask them for pickup - I'm sure you did that but maybe they forgot. Next time call again and again (maybe you did that too)

Surprisingly the flight was full. Anyway I'll be coming back through Incheon, you're right. I had only 4 brandy with soda, I mean its a special request, half brandy half soda, most of the time its 1/5 brandy 4/5 soda. I was worried I couldn't sleep in the hotel but I did by 1.30am so I'm pretty well adjusted, but not madam, after breakfast came up slept now still not wake.

Let me know I will try to join you guys in Pattaya at least for a night of painting the town red.

Morning guys and afternoon joetys,

Hehehe. Still not use to new apartment yet. Last night after dinner, forgot I am staying at new place and went back old apartment. Have to make u-turn. Traffic is bad even at 10 pm because of a few road closure/diversion due to the current music festival.

Set. Cannot paint too red na pii, cos mi landlord duey kan (not same as BKK landlord so ssshhh kow jai na khap). kwaam lap na.
Hehehe. There's something for everyone here in Sin City, eg. Singles, doubles, group, young, old, male, females and the undefined.

Had usual American breakfast at Took Lae Dee (Foodland) and took pics of some advertisements. The advertisements are mainly properties, vehicles and jobs.

This 900KM Fino is a good buy. My less than a year Scoopy already 2800 KM. Think can bargain to THB 30K.

40 year old Mini Cooper! Yours for THB 115K provided you have another few hundred thousand to maintain this car.

<a href="http://s1144.photobucket.com/albums/o497/chonburifc/1204/?action=view&amp;current=6224d3e2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1144.photobucket.com/albums/o497/chonburifc/1204/6224d3e2.jpg" border="0" alt="Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App"></a>
1974 Mercs at THB 360K. Ang Mohs like to play this type of old cars. One of my neighbor is 'playing' old Vespa Scooter. And it's not cheap. Have to get specialized mechanics for many repairs. Spares also very expensive.

This is a very nice studio unit for 1-2 with good seaview. It's nice to wake up every morning with a good scenery. Also very conducive for those who love natures while playing bedminton.

This is View Talay at Jomtien. I went there to look for a unit to rent and trust me, this is a nice place to stay. Only THB 3.5 million. This one 82 sqm is the bigger unit. The unit I was interested is 50 sqm.

Felt for pizza goggle and found this highly recommended place Papis Pizzeria. Now waiting.
