4 NUS students in Premier Cab kenna accident 1 girl up lorry!

Cost cutting by Comfort, no air bags. Only fitted with seat belt. Usually back passengers forget to buckle up.

Hello!..wrong number, SILVER CAB not ants till you see Comfort. Gruesome video...it seems to be a kind of a pattern of woman getting sucked out or hung out of a window, dead, after an accident. The SW airline woman got sucked out, when the engine exploded & shrapnel hits the plane window.

KNN tp aka pap has been too lenient with drivers and issuing license, especially on the conversion of foreign license. They will only look into it if their nok died in accidents.
Since car ownership has always been an issue in sg, instead of coe control, should issue license only to safe drivers. Once caught disobeying rules, a fine is not going to make any difference, whereas a ban will . my uncle say ban or suspend a license for a long duration then can curb this problem KNN. too bad pap want to collect money despite all these KNN.

Another gruesome scene. A daily occurrence in a country full of Chinese drivers.

KNN let's put it this way - when too many people own something it become worthless. last time it was a status to own credit card but not now KNN.

The other driver is going straight, right of way.
Taxi is turning, he can move only when coast is clear or green light in his favor.

.

LTA can do a bit more. vehicles coming straight toward taxi are distracted by road works and dimly lights road. more can be done such as alerting cars they are fast approaching a X junction. sad case. the taxi driver took a big risk and lost heavy.

.
The quartet, along with the drivers of both vehicles, were taken to the National University Hospital. The police told The Straits Times that the woman died of her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. ST understands that the woman is Ms Kathy Ong. NUS confirmed the accident in a statement on Friday, adding that one of the students was seriously injured. The remaining two are in stable condition. "The university is deeply saddened by the accident. University staff and counsellors are in touch with the family and friends of the four students involved to provide support and assistance. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time," the statement added

KNN just in case some are not aware or find a myth about unfairness in license issuing - teeko pek retired tp tester will issue license to long legged sotong cracker xmm over a blur sotong cracker man if they happen to have to 2 choose 1 when both obtain same borderline results. too bad for marcik always at losing ends. your fate depend greatly on the skills of testee for that day. my uncle is speaking as a veteran driving instructor :)

I don't care. Now they will replace the dead sinkie with a FT in her place at NUS.

I am sure the driver on the other car can see the taxi making the turn. Why is there a need to speed ?

FT say hurrah! More Sinkies dies more university places for me! Loser girl!

I feel for Kathy ‘s parents. What did she do wrong to deserve this?

It is a tragic loss . A whole life is gone because of the reckless action of another .

The approaching car was speeding. Way too fast. The driver should be charged for speeding and manslaughter.

I fully agree. The car was in fact barrelling down the straight like a torpedo! So fast for what when approaching a junction? Worse still that Clementi junction is a very busy junction. Since the taxi was turning right and moving rather slowly and tentatively, the poor girl could have survived with some injuries in spite of the collision. The driver's conscience is at stake! Can he sleep well at night?
