Those who are still jobless. You all should go & see your MP.

PAP said that they will listen to you during GE 2011 :p

half my local frens are either unemployed or self-employed. I wonder how the self-employed ones get by.

recently u can see many opposition candidates call themselves self-employed as well.

the only sweet market is for those in their 20s.

although I'm employed now, I'm taking steps to keep my skills shipshape and trying to get some side revenue started which will hopefully develop to a business.

also renovating my flat in view that I can rent out the master room at any time.

Noone owes me a living, just trying to get by.

I maintain a decent linkedin profile, it will become more useful in the future.

Earning a living is not that hard if we understand the demand and supply of our domain and position ourselves accordingly.

Meanwhile using tools such as RSS feeds inside google reader to efficiently aggregate and browse jobs and spot the ones that fit us, or keep tabs on the current market out there, relevant companies to keep an eye on etc.

the meetup site has some active groups for local entrepreneurs and other interest-related groups, good place to attend events and know people.
