How else to afford this kind of lifestyle? How else to indulge in 全球大撒币 virtue signalling?
This is actually acknowledgement from the Govt that senior SAF officers cannot be expected to fend for themselves after leaving the military as they have no marketable skills.dont forget ... SAF officers are also silver serpents ... their "retire" is actually a reassignment to other government owned companies and organisation to continue feed them from craddle to grave .... this is IRON RICE BOWL of all silver serpents .... majority sinkie taxpayers owes them a living.![]()

There is a risk-averse culture in the SAF owing to the scrutiny that decisions are under in a rigid hierarchical system, while there is more of a risk management culture in the private sector. This makes it imperative for ex-military officers to apply and adapt the skills they learnt in the army into a different environment.senior SAF officers became obsolete and rubbish to the society once they leave the army??![]()
Senior military officers may know how to manage large resources and deploy budgets. However, they do not have the same grasp of the profit motive. The only pte companies a leetired saf orhweesir can work for are property and insurance companies.
I beg to differ. The only pte companies a leetired saf orhweesir can work for are property and insurance companies.
I know of an ex-SAF senior officer who fucked up at every job he tried after leaving the armed forces, but finally landed a job at a charity where he was paid to do jack shit till he reached the end of his retirement and reemployment age.I beg to differ. I feel that they are only good at running security companies providing guards for condominiums.
What was his last rank ?I know of an ex-SAF senior officer who fucked up at every job he tried after leaving the armed forces, but finally landed a job at a charity where he was paid to do jack shit till he reached the end of his retirement and reemployment age.
Colonel. Do you know him? What was his last rank ?
He was an O Level SAF officer who signed on in the early 1970s.No, I don't. Was he a scholar ?
Know how to listen to OrderLeaders' attitudes and psychology are different between the armed forces and the public sector. Senior military officers may know how to manage large resources and deploy budgets. However, they do not have the same grasp of the profit motive. This is why a search of a CEO for these public transport companies must go beyond our army camps.
Their pride might stop them from doing this de woh especially if they were orhweesirs or powerful incikYou can add the taxi and PHV firms to your list. LOL!
I actually saw some old fart SAF former officer sitting in the management board in Jurong Point.where got enough space in all the GLCs and Stat Boards to absorb so many jiakliaobee SAF officers? Many are now being parachuted into SSC, and MFA. One of my former useless CO, the most stupid fucker will meet, did his 25 years in the SAF and then all of a sudden can become consulate general in Pekan Baru. LOL. What he knows about diplomacy can fit on my little finger..
They wouldn't know their pride would be dented until Ramesh put them on standby bed.Their pride might stop them from doing this de woh especially if they were orhweesirs or powerful incik
A close acquaintance of mine who was a regional sales and marketing director of a MNC, got laid off 13 years ago. After unsuccessful attempts to find a job of a similar level owing probably to his age, he started driving a PHV. As S'pore is small, he had passengers who were formerly his clients, colleagues and friends. It affected him for some time, before he got accustomed to his vocation which he continues to hold now at age 62.Their pride might stop them from doing this de woh especially if they were orhweesirs or powerful incik
I heard about some former SAF officers and warrant officers who became discipline masters in primary and secondary schools.I actually saw some old fart SAF former officer sitting in the management board in Jurong Point.
After a certain age, especially after 55, it is always easier to put down the pride and move along.A close acquaintance of mine who was a regional sales and marketing director of a MNC, got laid off 13 years ago.
