It seems that she signaled at the very last second which gave the other driver no time whatsoever to react.
all thru’ traffic has first right of way despite “gunning”. turning car must give way even if signal light is on. signal light is a courtesy gadget, not a mandatory compliance gadget. onus is on turning driver to check and wait for a safe turn.Mat yoyo at fault for driving too fast and following too closely and overtaking at a right turning juncture.
No debate whatsoever.
Not sure what you mean.all thru’ traffic has first right of way despite “gunning”. turning car must give way even if signal light is on. signal light is a courtesy gadget, not a mandatory compliance gadget. onus is on turning driver to check and wait for a safe turn.
Ask the other car for cam footageThe Mat over take via the opposite direction lane… and the speed he is driving definitely exceed the normal speed limit of 60…..
For me I will just report police and show the police my car cam footage… no need to talk to the Mat Yo Yo

Reduce speed firstmany drivers get their signaling wrong. check mirrors and blind spot first, and when it’s safe to turn or change lanes, signal then turn or change lanes. only time you signal ahead of a turning or lane change is when roads are congested and traffic is braking and moving very slowly. when traffic is moving quickly, do not signal, then check mirrors and blind spot before turning or changing lanes (because on freeways and sexpressways other vehicles are zipping by so fast and will react to your signal one way or another, sometimes braking hard which cause rear-ending). worst drivers are those who simply signal and turn or change lanes without checking mirrors or blind spot.
