This is the problem with the world nowadays everyone expects solutions to their problems to originate from someone else. Life doesn't work like that.

The pioneering spirit that brought humanity to where we are today was achieved by communities that were fiercely independent, overcame hardship, solved problems and built infrastructure all on their own. No funding, no grants, no handouts, no subsidies, no welfare.... nothing. You either fought to survive or you died. There was no in between.

It is important the a surplus is achieved now because they will be used up in the future as medical technology advances and treatment becomes more expensive.

For example when new cancer drugs are introduced they can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per course. It is easy to see how the surplus can turn to a deficit if the funds are not prudently managed.

Knowing what a good job the PAP does I can assure you that they are planning for the long term and that is what every government should do.

I don't think that I am elite I KNOW that I am elite. It is pretty easy imagine Singapore collapsing without the PAP because there are just so many dumbfucks in Singapore and for some reason they have all joined the opposition ranks.
