It is hard to see a silver lining as long as the PAP is in charge.

However I think the tide is finally turning & Sporeans are now angry & desperate enough to consider change. Especially when the old man is ready to up the lorry. Will have to see how it goes in the next GE.
 
Debt is just an illusion. A problem where expenses exceeded income. Money is just a human invention for transaction. So many banks suffered billions of losses during the financial crisis and CEOs were getting fat paychecks. Ronald regan bankrupted the entire nations and he has no problem with it. Why die over such an illusion?
