How's ROC Bak Kut Teh? Can fight Sinkee and MY version? The last time I cooked Bak Kut Teh was mid 2011. Landlord was impressed but actually I cheated by using the packaged herbs from Sheng Siong.
This is not bak kut teh as in you pay for the dish. It comes free with the main dish, and it's buffet style free for all. So you can't compare it with the real stuff.
But S$2.50 you get one meat with 3 vegetables plus soup and syrup drink. I don't think anywhere in Singapore you can get this kind of price. And we're not talking about Thailand. It's Taiwan, supposedly one of the 4 tigers in Asia.
