As expected, the shameless state media has begun its smear campaign against Liu Guodong to justify Lee Bee Wah’s remarks that he lacked professionalism and integrity.

Shin Ming daily published a full page article castigating Liu for almost causing the Singapore table tennis team to “break up” prior to the Beijing Olympics.

Quoting from anonymous sources from STTA, Shin Ming claimed that Liu was biased towards Wang Yuegu and favored Li Jiawei as the main player in the team which caused friction between the two.

Wang Yuegu almost thought of returning to China and was persuaded to stay on by STTA. The source also alleged that Wang has kept a voice recording of a conversation between Liu and Li Jiawei as evidence.

STTA had a discussion with Liu and expressed its wishes to see him place his attention equally on all players. Liu defended his strategy and he was aware that he would lose the “respect” of his players as a result.

wasnt it the Shin Min editor that drove her car and killed someone but got off with a light tap on hand? 1 day jail only??

The judge said in his passing judgement that this is a special 1 off case which cannot be use a precedence for future case?

It is really facts twisting!!!!, LI Jiawei has a much higher world ranking than Guyer...ie..she ia ace players..follow by Tienwei..A caoch will always put higher resource and time on the ace players..AS THEY DECIDE THE WIN OR LOOSE of a game...
Now , we has a lower ranking GUyer came out to shout that she deserve as high a prioty as Li Jiawei..a Guoning who lost 4 stright sets[ extremely poor forms during the match] also give excuse of loosing the hame.......

SO STTA wants all their future caoch to focus on the poorer player and neglect the ace players...and hope to win any games????????

A caoch mission . like LIU was to get a silver medal for singapore..and he DID it ...now STTA endorse their 2nd ranks players to came out to condemn the MOST SUCESSFUL CAOCH that singapore EVER has........
If the SNOC concurred with such approach..singapore can forget about getting any medals in the international arena....
ABSURD ABSURD ....the mediocre players took centre stage and shower with glory...
WHY IS JIAWEI AND TIANWEI SO VERY QUIET?????//

Jiawei who got married and baby....means , she decided to call it a day in getting anymore medals for singapore...TIANWEI who was literally picked up from the trash and groomed to her highest potential by LIU.....will never perform well in future...as her GRAND MASTER CAOCH is being so unfairly insulted and treated..........their bondage is much much stronger than one can imagined.........

aiya,,,, unless the imported players decides to call it a day in singapore, if not you think they forego the $$ for integrity? 1st they left the country and now enjoy good $$ for simply playing their games,,,,,,

what we see in the table tennis team with 100% import is called ;RED EYE' disease, a very common syndrom in china........when a team mate or mated are shining in their performance..[ hence got priority treatmens..naturally]..the mediocre will want to pull down the ace teammates..so they hope to climb ontop......forgetting that they just not have the edging out factor of an ace players.........they just practise here in our table tennis teams........
WATCH OUT, THIS IS A SURE FORMULA TO FAIL IN TEAM OVERALL PERFORMANCE.........IF our much criticised STTA. has vondomen and ..encourage it...more endless bickering and usurping anyone who risen to the top.....
IT IS VERY COMMON IN CHINA..we also INPORTED THAT DEVASTATING practise in STTA..
like communisn...if i cannot perform, or not willing to perform..I still want the SAME and EQUAL share of glory and priority.!!!!!!WITHOUT HAVING TO EARN IT!!!!!!!!!!
