I have never heard of any physical reaction from giving up smoking normal cigarettes, other then the 'urge' itself. To resist this urge is in the head only.

I gave that up cold turkey, over 6 months ago.
About the main reason was that a pack cost about $3. The thought of giving that bastard LKY 8-9 bucks each pack was too much.
So I gave up. Not a cigarette since then.
So smokers, if you want to give $$$ to that bastard LKY, go ahead.

open 1 perm hole on the throat for breathing.
cannot talk permanent.
he went chemo..whole mouth was covered by uclers,too pain to eat any food.
went outside, people will stare at the weird hole.
want to work, but too tired to do any proper jobs.
want to check blindspot, the hole is too painful to turn your head.
toward the final stage,
he become too weak to walk,so wheelchair bound.

Not tough at all. I have heard of several cases of men who smoke 20-30 sticks a day until got health problems in the forties and fifties. The specialist doc told them straight, if you want to die within one or two years, then continue to smoke. Almost overnight, these smokers quit totally.
A lot of side effects, like suddenly got plenty of free time, more money in bank, breathe better, mouth cleaner and family members that don't smoke looks happier too.but i heard those who quit abruptly has severe side effects...
