I nearly purchased a bumi-release lot.
For information, Bumu-released lot is NOT the same as international lot.
From what I understand, a bumi-released lot can be sold to foreigners by developers.
Howevr, note that foreigners cannt buy Bumi-released lot from resale market.
So once you buy a bumi-released lot, you can only sell to locals subsequently.

If one could live peacefully in ones country, unperturbed by foreign forces, who would want to live in others lands?
If one could depend on ones country, who wouldn't forge ahead towards the enemy and die without looking back?
If one could live well until the end in peace AND dignity, who would want to travel around the ends of the earth?

fully agree!

News reported a singaporean golfer car was stolen yesterday. Though this is nothibg surprising
i am wondering if we can buy a malaysian car plate for safery sake?

Vehicles are stolen eveywhere.. my old neighbour was stolen at one of HDB multi storey car park when he was travelling few years back.. this was not reported in newspaper.. strange..

Any bad news about JB crime come "fast and furious". Recently a politican from Penang criticised about the crime rate in Johor and that was flatly denial by JB police head , so I guess someone in SG just love to rub it in when another case come about just over the weekend.

Bro avalon74, as a payer of EPF, i must say, their execution of this is really good. There are still some who asks if we can give them one lump sum (with some discounts)
but we would rather follow the law and for their own good by insisting on EPF even though it would cost us more.

For a country that is often berated, there are still some things they do well.
EPF after the initial teething problems is one of them.

I've been visiting Msia for one year already, I see only progress in this country with better and better living standards. In Spore, I see only regress - from a good clean country to an overcrowded city with all the shitty FTrash and deteriorating living standards.

Just went for a ride on coastal road to HH and Puteri Harbour, Kota Iskandar area....

Wow.. Kota Iskandar look like PutraJaya.. Very grand and beautiful.. Wish they will upkeep the place.. Puteri Harbour area is also very beautiful..

Highway is also nice.. but HH signboard seemed a bit too near to the highway.. I hope they will build a wall around HH... I visited the linked house showroom at Nusa Indah.. for a price of 388888RM.. not bad..

My brother commented the quality of road, houses, construction, bricks, etc in JB are quite sub standard.. wow.. what to do.. it is better than paying 800K for a 30-40 years HDB right?

Hi Euphony,

What is your estimation of the distance (in Km) on Coaster Highway from the humongous roundabout to HH/Bukit Indah interchange? 2km? 3km? 4km?

Hi, it is more than 5 km. I tried that day and took note of the km at somewhere after the entrance to Coastal highway and before reaching Anjung, didn't note the final distance though.

Bro, from what I understand and in Bro Wuqi previous post, once the Bumi-lot is released/converted, it is converted to "International lot" and can be sold to FOREIGNER/ANYONE. If it's then subsequently bought by a Bumi, i.e. a Malaysian Malay ONLY, it reverts back to being a Bumi Lot and the whole process needs to be repeated if the Bumi then wants to sell it an "Foreigner /International" buyer. In the second part about the "subsequent purchse by a BUMI....... " that's a grey area and needs confirmation by a Forum contributor, i.e. Bro Wuqi or someone with knowledge. I believe I have given a clear explanation to this, however I think it would clear up confusion if this issue being clearly explained to those contemplating buying Bumi-released properties.

A friendly bank sales person told me that a bumi-released lot (supposedly converted to Intl Lot) subsequently cannot be sold to foreigner. Can sell to non-bumi but not foreigner.
I checked with developer about this and confirmed true. In fact, some of them didn't know until they check with more experienced colleague.
