Is that you, GoldenDragon ?
You flatter me. I am not so yien tao. Me only slightly better looking than Lui Fuck Yew and GMS.
Is that you, GoldenDragon ?
i would shot both Des and Sebas then the snake.
Coming from the resident village idiot who reads the 8 days?
Who the fuck are these people? Only emerge during election!
It's like the asshole children u give red packets to once a year and never seen them before
Grassroots sources indicate that Tin Pei Ling would be able to defend MacPherson SMC on her own. She has shown a lot of improvement since GE2011. Please continue to underestimate her.
Hope wp can make their selection based on potential and not seniority although it is really hard to convince the seniors to accept. Heard that Tpl really pia ka liao with block visits throughout the years which is how she gained acceptance. If by the pap brand alone she sure gone case.
I am not so optimistic. It's never easy to defeat an incumbent, PAP or opposition, in a single seat contest, unless he or she fucked up big time.
Should be a close call. High stakes for Tin Tin. If win, she can cement her position in her party. If lose, she will forever be remembered for all her negatives.
This is what I would term "the Chen Show Mao effect". He may not have done much in Parliament, but CSM alone can inspire many Oxford and Cambridge qualified candidates to join the opposition.
ok, but why TPL in MacPherson again ? they must have concluded that she is still the best choice.
how about desmond lim campaig under wp brand?
What has she accomplished in life?.
either they put all their energy into her or they dont. Or scully she win then become minister or MOS
The Achilles heel of WP candidate here is lack of groundwork since it was decided to contest here only after ERBC report was released. TPL got 4 years to walk the ground whereas HTR only got less than 4 months to cover the area. Hence HTR got to really impress and outperform TPL during campaigning to compensate her lack of grassroots outreach. Nonetheless it will still be a tough fight for her.
She has matured. And yes, she is a more hardworking MP than many of her comrades. But, I hope she loses. Nothing personal. Just want more opposition in parliament - the credible ones.
Irrespective of how well (or not) Tin Pei Ling has performed as an MP, she will have the backing of the PAP artillery behind her when she contests the MacPherson ward.
The quality of the Opposition candidate is central to getting her booted out. If she's a Cambridge educated lawyer, even better but her lack of grassroots support may count against her. Also, unlike 2011, the Opposition can't now play the 'Kate Spade' immaturity card any longer and will have to seek alternative methods to attack her credibility.
