Wow! Fried rice at Han now cost over $9 bucks !!

Wet plate for toast - That is really bad.

Worse, the toasts were served on a plate which was wet. Pointed it out to the PRC girl preparing the toasts but she did seem to understand me or pretend not to understand. Had to ask for a serviette to wipe the plate dry myself.

Hans is no longer the attraction it once was. Those serving you are all the bin-chow-chow aunties.

Either kena fucked by the boss or not getting fucked by their hubbies...

i believe, not heard, you are one of his biggest fans

The one that use to serve at Han's is the boss & he was the one that appeared on TV..I thought to myself..there goes my eating place & it did. Arcade Auntie, Uncle know so well that, they know my requirements on how the egg is done, the toast & the coffee. Even for their other dishes on the menu. The staff there knew the regular customers there by sight or by name. Really miss the kind of relationship we used to have with the people where we used to eat at. Now, we have a Pinoy face, a PRC one or even a Myanmar one...who will ask you "YES!"...no Hello!... Mr or Mdm or Ms.... how are you today, the usual??

My light snack on the way to office, always would be their Chocolate Eclair or the Apple Turnover from Deli France.

Really misses the staff at Hans, the Arcade..:p

did u regularly change currency there too?

Knew a few money changers & some of those Indian moneylenders too..who come in handy. ha ha ha ha

They give you better rates than normal customers?

Anyway i read in the thai thread of someone who has an off shore bank account and how his bank even pays the transfer fees for him and i think gives him a good exchange rate. I need to go back and search for his post. If it's so good it saves time even going to a money changer.

You have to know them personally, anyway can't tell much on this or won't tell...it is like this, we can just pick up the phone "Ali..how much is your Rinngit Rate..ok!..oh! we need around 2,000 in 50 please, we sent our 'boy' over"...that is the kind of working relationship with the money changer..transfer fees etc..that I won't comment. All I can say, is I know one MC, when his son was kicking the ball around the shop...& now that son, has one of his own, kicking around the shop... hmmm

Many keep saying everything has become pricey and the quality has declined. If that is the case then the only thing that remains affordable to the peasantry is junk food. If that goes up in price, it only does so by 10 cents or 20 cents every 6 months or so.
