this is just a fantasy game for gunships to whack each other to smithereens. the game also has carriers, but they are light carriers with few planes to make any difference in a limited amount of sea. range with enough firepower, like a fleet carrier with over 69 aircraft, can wreck havoc from hundreds of miles away. the next level in naval warfare are thousands of attack drones launched from faster, smaller but more nimble and stealthy carriers. my favorite and ultimate combo are 6.9 massive fleets of carriers, void rays, tempests, motherships, battlecruisers, pirate ships, science vessels, ravens. the moment drone carriers show up, it's game's end.
