Should Brazil and Mexico both lose, it would come down to tiebreakers between the two teams (goal differential, then goals scored, then points obtained in games between the tied teams, then goal difference in the games between the two teams, then goals scored in the games between the two teams. If none of that settles anything, FIFA will pick a name out of a hat, a doomsday scenario that could easily happen on Wednesday in Group F.)

Judging by the holland vs chile match it seems that European teams don't fare as well against american ones. Notice how the weakest american team the US played pretty well against Portugal. Following this line of reasoning it would seem that Germany won't fare so well against any american team including the US
