Holland has already qualified for 2nd round; a draw with Cameroon is enough for them to top the Group E. Cameroon is definitely out of the tournament. The 2nd place is between Denmark & Japan, Japan just need a draw, Denmark must win. Denmark can only topple Holland as group leader only if they can beat the Nippon Kia by at least 3 goals and above, and hoping for Cameroon to beat Holland. Similarly for Japan to top the group, they also need to beat Denmark by 2 goals and above and hoping for Holland to lose the game against Camerron.

Yesterday night was a frustrating night for the herd. The night started brightly with a much anticipated Netherlands victory. The Ghana-Australia game looked promising after "cannot make it" Australia was reduced to 10 men and lost their early 1 goal lead. There were looks of disblief when the game ended in a draw. Cameron is a favored dark horse of the herd. Betting for the third match was therefore light. There were howls of disappointment that the dark horse failed to upset boring Denmark.

With this back drop, let us look at today's matches.

Paraguay-Slovakia A match up between two light weights. Betting interest is light with most punters conserving capital for the later two matches

Italy-New Zealand Normally, the immortal Italians would be a herd favorite. THe recent upsets of France, England and even mighty Germany has however shaken the faith of the herd in the traditional power houses of Europe. It is therefore not surprising that the herd is betting heavily on yet another upset. Betting volume on the draw is high. Near extinct Italian fans have good odds if they want to support their team.

Brazil-Ivory Coast This is the second big match up of the night. Brazil is widely regarded by the herd as being invincible. Hence although it is the third match of the night, betting volume of the herd is heavy for fear that the odds will drift down as the day passes. If Brazil under perform, the mass grave would be of equal size or even larger than the Germany-Serbia match.

I also have the feeling that England will be heading for home after their last match with Slovenia. The talk of Rooney would bring glory to England before the tournament is now a dream! I think Italy will beat NZ. Italy aren't very strong, but NZ is weak.
Paraguay to beat Slovakia in my opinion, Paraguay are very good going forward, they can even afford to have Roque Santa Cruz and Oscar Cardozo on the bench.
Brazil and Ivory Coast will be interesting, I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
