They already been doing testing for a while and Singaporeans are not fully onboard with EV yet so to introduce AV to everyone might be too soon.

i have tried driverless taxi in US.

It is not fully approved in that city, so there's a driver, whose hands are near the steering wheels, a technologist on board, and mi the passenger.

Even have Robo-Taxi also no need to worry, they are unable to maneuver in tight condo carpark
Foresee they will just drop pax outside the Condo, along the main road.
But hey ... for sure fare very low & Rider dont mind, they will get used to it.
So those manual driver, will continue get request - pickup at level 3 industrial estate, or basement lobby
