They chose the wrong partner to test. Hyundai.
They should have gone with tesla or Didi.
Useless Sinkies can always become hygiene experts cleaning toilets, or Old Fart Specialist cleaning their shitty diapers. More jobs are created!
When that happens, taxi drivers will have to drive lalamove.
It will be ten years before it's mainstream so plenty of time to think of next job.
i have tried driverless taxi in US.
It is not fully approved in that city, so there's a driver, whose hands are near the steering wheels, a technologist on board, and mi the passenger.
Fly to my windows.
Even have Robo-Taxi also no need to worry, they are unable to maneuver in tight condo carpark
Foresee they will just drop pax outside the Condo, along the main road.
But hey ... for sure fare very low & Rider dont mind, they will get used to it.
So those manual driver, will continue get request - pickup at level 3 industrial estate, or basement lobby
