they are expensive , the sound is not as good, the lighting effect by CO2 cannot be seen and Elphaba effect of flying is not felt.

Row A seat is cheap and good, but you have to line up every morning at 08:30 am, and wait for box office to open at 10:00.
If not you not going to get Row A.

When you come out of the show, go to the side of apollo that face victoria train station. walk 50m from entrance and you see a iron barricade, in front of a door with cast door written on it. wait for 15-20 mins. Give cast the program to sign and ask if they can take photo with you, ask a friend to take photo.


Remember a lot of the cast is leaving in dec.

just watch the movie the wizard of oz before you go and see wicked, or you miss some of the joke. or there is a musical of wizard of oz in london now too. that will do fine too, dun expect the same calibre as wicked.

Ben stott is on holiday now, do not know when is he back.
He is replaced by Thomas Sutchliffe during leave.

He look very muscular, maybe not suitable for Boq role, Ben is more handsome, but Thomas acting and singing is not bad.

The seat in Victoria is mostly good, but some seats have problem, if you have any problem at all, immediately go to the staff and complain, normally it is not fully book, and you can change seat. maybe even get better seating. built in 1929.

Remember to watch wizard of oz first, remember to choose your seat carefully, never at second storey.

But in the end, if you dun like the show, well it is only NZ cast, NZ is really not broadway hub, come to London before dec 2011 to see the best cast in the world.

and you think it cannot be improved, but it has. The new popular in westend London, Glinda will be very angry after she said it is not fair, i told you a really good one, and she jump on the bed face down like planking, and everyone will just laugh.

After the first toss toss, Glinda will turn to audience and make a woow impression.

The second ball gown is a massive scream, that is so funny when i first hear it,not like the one you see here.

When they are doing it for months and months, it just get better.

Ask yourself, how long it take to tune the sound system of live band?? In Apollo Victoria, they have been tuning the sound system for years. Do you think a rush job in Marina Sand will be better? Yeah, dream on.
