Why would anyone even think that MP Josephine Teo is pretty?

Huh? This you call pretty? :D

Personally, I think a young (or significantly younger) Lim Hwee Hua was prettier:

She is nice from far and far from nice.
close-up shot...ROUGH FACE! Yucks!!!
from far, so sweet - come near, like shit

I would say that before the 2011 GE and with sufficient make-up, her face was above-average:

But during the past few years, as she gets nearer to menopause (she'll be 50 about three years from now), not to mention her possible and probable lack of sleep, her obvious eye bags have caused her face to look less pretty:

Most importantly, is she skilled in lar ka chng?

Wow from the pics, all her suits look very expensive. Well-paid and well-fed!

didn't she, erm, sucked some you know, to become a MP previously?
Not sure, but there must be a reason why Josephine Teo, another so-called "chiobu" MP (who is about ten years younger), was chosen to be Lim Hwee Hua's direct successor as the junior minister in both the Transport and Finance Ministries in 2011...
