Why we use Gong Hee Fatt Choy for CNY greetings??

Gong Hee = 恭喜 in Hokkien

Fatt Choy = 发财 in Cantonese.

Shouldn't it be Gong Hei Fatt Choy or Gong Hee Huat Chai?

Why Gong Hee Fatt Choy???

I don't understand.
