Already using me taxpayer money to give them free hospital treatment, free food, free hotel stay and free cruise stay, is that not kind enough to these foreign workers? Why still need to make everyone else suffer lockdown?
@bart12 and some more I said treat them kindly and properly give them free hotel free cruise ship stay for lockdown etc. Not forgetting they get 100 x 14 day =1400 for those quarantine too.
Free 5 star hotel ok if not they complain discrimination. They really got no homes in Singapore and need to quarantine what to do?
On the other hand if PAP extend the lockdown leading to more middle income to low income citizens losing jobs and homes, will PAP give free hotel stays free food for these Singaporeans?
I already answered that PAP is not protecting me but taking away my protection that I paid for. And how can the Bangla spread the virus to me when I already said they should be lockdown in my
first post of the thread? Read properly first time before opening your filthy liar son of whore mouth
Ok..I found the amswer from another thread that you need income from bangla..that is why you are cursing when govt is locking down the bangla.

The graph showing the number of infected cases from broader community since beginning of circuit breaker
that's exactly what @Leongsam said! Hey Sam, someone here exactly of like mind.Just lockdown the foreign workers dormitories and other foreign workers will do

KNN boss yesterday was 61 cases in community KNN sinkieland has 16 towns so average there are 4 infectious in each town KNN it is a danger lumber KNNIt's not a stroke of brilliance it just seems to be an obvious practical solution. I honestly do not understand why the lockdown has been extended when it should be relaxed instead.
1. Apart from the dorms the spread in the rest of the community is minimal.
2. Within the dorms it goes without saying that the number will be high because they live in close proximity. The latest data points to an infection rate of anything between 10% and 30% BUT IT DOES NOT MATTER because very few actually become seriously ill. If the vast majority are under 50 years of age there is very little to worry about as far as their welfare is concerned.
3. If the dorms are isolated for the time being the rest of the country that does not need the labor from these dorms can reopen for business.

I know, I know. You were one of the very first to mention it. The very first on this den of thieves at any rate. So credit where credit's due. In any case, brilliance is relative... 'nuff said about that. For the record, I personally preferred the take the high risk people and ring-fence them approach. Whilst I feel the virus once contracted is more serious than a typical flu for a person with marginal health, I also feel that lockdowns are using hammers to swat at flies. It's not a stroke of brilliance it just seems to be an obvious practical solution. I honestly do not understand why the lockdown has been extended when it should be relaxed instead.

Maybe your ability to make the leap before total certainty is why you're so successful and can afford to retire early and I'm still struggling along here!
ah... I'm not so sure... depends who's reading and what they get out of it.It's easy to take a leap in this forum because any errors I make are of little consequence.
well, that's never changed. it's just switched from papers to electronic print. bombast, partisanship and topics that trigger raw emotion generate news dollars. The virus is an unknown and I can understand why that breeds fear in the hearts of many. However what is happening in today's world is that the media is stoking the fear for all they're worth to gain clicks and fuck Trump in well fell swoop.
truly logical. although I've come to appreciate some of the right brain / soft side of things as I age... like how I don't want to be stuck with a dry cough for weeks. but again, this proves your point -- that it's relatively minor.I personally make decisions by calculating the odds of dying and weighing those odds against what I stand to gain.
The actuarial tables tell me that my risk of death within a year is already 2% so an additional 0.5% risk from corona isn't really a big deal overall.
yes. and this is where I truly agree with you. I'm expecting viral epidemics to become a more common thing as the world gets more over populated and covid seems just about as good a place to get some partial immunity as any.If I had young kids now I would definitely want them to catch Covid-19 now just as my mum wanted me to catch Mumps and Measles while I was still in primary school.
