I know, I know. You were one of the very first to mention it. The very first on this den of thieves at any rate. So credit where credit's due. In any case, brilliance is relative... 'nuff said about that. For the record, I personally preferred the take the high risk people and ring-fence them approach. Whilst I feel the virus once contracted is more serious than a typical flu for a person with marginal health, I also feel that lockdowns are using hammers to swat at flies.

It's just that with things medical, I prefer to get a firmer grasp of the way the disease works before I say anything. I don't ever wish to give wrong advice. I'd rather be slow than wrong. Plus, this thing's a virus. Everybody could be wrong about it tomorrow. So until I've got a whole solid breakdown of the disease, I'm sitting on a fence.

The virus is an unknown and I can understand why that breeds fear in the hearts of many. However what is happening in today's world is that the media is stoking the fear for all they're worth to gain clicks and fuck Trump in well fell swoop.

I personally make decisions by calculating the odds of dying and weighing those odds against what I stand to gain.

The actuarial tables tell me that my risk of death within a year is already 2% so an additional 0.5% risk from corona isn't really a big deal overall.

If I had young kids now I would definitely want them to catch Covid-19 now just as my mum wanted me to catch Mumps and Measles while I was still in primary school.
