Your last post was in Nov 2013 and you return just to ask if someone's dead? LOL!
Well, although I have not been writing much on this Sammyboy Forum, but I always see people quoting my FB entries here in SBF! That is sure a guarantee of my being...

I miss him terribly. I hope he comes back soon.

dear Mr Goh Meng Seng,
how are you? what is your own assessment about your popularity? do you think you are welcomed in the next GE? do you think you will keep your election deposit?
blah blah blah
After so many years, you still write so much and yet say nothing. Please answer questions without going into your vaginal monologue mode again ok?
So what have been up to in HK? What NGO are you working for? Our dim sum session in Kuntung is still on right?
Who will lose election deposits? Friend, it is still very early to say lah!

As for TKL, I can only tell you that losing deposit is within expectation though we hope for the best. It is unfortunate as study is done before TJS stepped in. Not everyone is born politician but that doesnt mean that they are no good ans definitely, it doesnt mean those born politician are better in anyways. I still stick with my choice based on core values I believed in.

TKL is not the one who should worry about his deposit. TCB and TJS are the ones who should be worried about their deposits. Put it simply, TJS are playing the opposition mode which he hopes to garner those 40% of voters who have voted opposition. However, he is gravely mistaken because those who have voted opposition in GE2011 consists of only 20% or less of hardcore anti-PAP while the other are made up of swing voters who are generally the silent majority.

One day in politics is really a long time you know. Just like WP, after all the dance and fancy, reality sets in and slowly but steadily, you will see how it decays. From YSL saga, copy cat saga, MX 9 saga... people are forgiving... Hawker Centre Ceiling Saga, people give benefits of doubts until now, two years of financial accounts saga, people start to have doubts... Never say never in politics.
As far as I am concerned, despite of invitations and such, I am still sitting on the fence to see things unfolding, with great amusement. I guess the BEST has yet to come! By then, we won't know who will be the ones losing election deposits if things do not change. Change is the only TRUE REALITY to everybody, be it PAP, WP, NSP, SDP or otherwise. People who cannot keep up with Change, correct themselves along the path of Change, will be ultimately disposed off by the people and history. It was just like yesterday PAP enjoyed all the trust, power and endorsement by Singaporeans but now, they have lost all these trust given by the people. What has happened to PAP, can also happen to WP, if WP so to choose to carry on its present path of arrogance and incompetency.
It is a big kind of irony I am amused with. While there are big group of awaken opposition supporters out there crying foul against PAP whenever WP is in trouble, regardless of whether it is due to its own folly or PAP's politicking, we must first reflect that if WP has become rotten with such incompetency, on what moral grounds would it be able to depend on in order to carry out its own "politicking" of checking on PAP's follies? If WP is to point fingers at PAP's adverse governance, won't PAP supporters do the same in pointing out WP's follies and claim that this is just "politicking"?
Politicking is not a BAD WORD that WP people made it out to be. Democracy DEPENDS ON POLITICKING to extract that kinds of checks and balances desired to ensure GOOD GOVERNANCE. Else, what would the system be if BOTH ruling party and opposition parties' politicians COLLUDE? All of us will be screwed lah! Politicking is the necessary though insufficient conditions for a functioning Democracy and thus, WP people, please live up to this reality. Of course excessive politicking is undesirable for any system but I guess at this moment, we will need just a little bit more politicking to kick start the development of Democracy in Singapore.
WP seriously needs a leadership change which I think, isn't going to happen any sooner. If that is so, as I have stated in my blog, the fate of WP will be hung by FMSS which may just turn into F-MESS eventually. Who will lose election deposits? Friend, it is still very early to say lah!
