Wah lau this one near my primary school in the 70s,and only show English movies.....Sadly I never even set foot inside it.
Near my childhood home. I remember going there to watch 太平山下 but no ticket and had to walk back.....
tickets only 50cts and quite up to date angmo reruns, always only 20-30 people in the cinema

my favorite cinema iz 1 of those infamous 1s showing R(A) movies but it developed my luv 4 “arthouse” movies.

In those days, we children had no problem mingling with mudds and ah-nehs and we weren't that easily offended.
The only cinema to show all three Star Wars movies from middle trilogy.

Good old Orchard cinema before it was horribly disfigured. It's was irritating to hear the sound of bowling balls hitting the pins below when watching Ghostbusters.
Watching Superman was a big event here at the time.
