We in SBF always talk about FT's and new citizens who are unable to adopt our culture. Let's discuss frankly, what do we mean by "A Singapore Culture." Is it our Singlish or the way we dressed or the food we eat, etc?
What are your opinions?
If, at the conclusion of this thread, we can't find any positive examples of Singapore culture, should we then agree that it would be a mistake to expect foreigners to adopt Singapore culture. Instead, we should be hoping that they IMPROVE the culture.
Bending down and let the gov screw is sinkie culture. I thought everyone knows that. In fact that is the only culture sinkie shamefully has.
