MALAYSIA lost all their three opening group matches in the rugby 7s competition.
Malaysia were outclassed 0-40 by African champions Kenya in the morning. And against world champions Samoa, Malaysia were crushed 61-0. The Malaysians completed their campaign in Group C with a 10-56 defeat by Papua New Guinea.
Nine of the world’s top 12 ranked teams are in action in the rugby 7s at the Delhi Games.
