Anyone know which brand of watches has good re-sale value...?? other than rolex. :)

Philippe Patek ,if you can afford it.Never neber buy Vacheron Constantin unless you are a royalty cost you bomb but no second hand value.

What other brand does pawn shops accept ?

if you want to sell this kind of luxury watches, then there are alot of 2nd hand watch shops that you can go.. There's one in Funan Center.. Name of the shop is Passions Watch.. Sold my Bell & Ross Br01-94 model there for around 4.5K.. Watches like IWC, Corum, Breitling, Panerai can fetch a good price in the 2nd hand market..

I've sold my Rolex. Good resale value. I now wear Sovil et Titus Andy Lau 天长地久 edition. I don't think it has much resale value but I like it. It got Andy Lau calligraphy of 天长地久 engraved at the back of case. Actually he used traditional Chinese, 天長地久。:)

Go to watch forums like ROC or SWX and you will know more of these shops.
There's one shop at the beach road army market Png Brothers who used to be at katong.
Nice honest chaps who are watch aficionados.

Yes Panerai too. Resale value 2nd only to rolex. Now they are the new rolexes....good resale but conventional pawnshops might not take them in yet.

what with panerai, some of their model or most of them have cheap mechanism inside. i dun like the huge size, it is fashion, soon it will be out of fashion soon to wear a clock on your wrist.

I always wear Seiko. Just $200 range model. Nice enough is just nice. Why waste money on thousands of dollars watches and hope for resale values?

I am not a fan....I still stick to Rolex sports models (but dislike the new models)....but many young collectors are going for Panerai now....the prices have been going up....dunno if the trend/fad will continue.
