Chitchat Want to learn to cook hawker standard char kway tiow at home. Since kenna lockdown got free time, i show you how....

These are additional cooking at Med heat. U can experiment it yrself.

I was showing how to cook the Kway tiow to get the wok heat taste and get the char burn look of the kuay tiow.

And show you how to play with the heat, fire up, turn down, and fire up and turn down...


No mention of lard also.

Bro. Usually use for boiling water only to get steam like the steam bun char siew pao machines u seen.

Rod get dirty and unclean rod will be infected w CV19.

got it. immersion rod boil water. then how? like steamboat/hot pot ah? leave the rod inside and cook with the boiling water? I guess that's possible.
 
Thats how I did it. Was looking for electric cookware, then look at the manual notice the heat level of Med and Max.... thats where all my experiments with food kicks in..

Just cooked my char kwey tiow , yummy..

A couple points.:

must have Hums and sinful lard.
use vintage iron wok over charcoal.
after frying, can see black spots means
