I am really looking forward to the Senate Trial, but either way I am looking forward to the result. Either they disqualify him from future office, or they cave into their fear of the next 2 elections. And if chicken out, then I really DO HOPE Donald J Trump tries to run again because he will easily win the GOP nomination and then there is virtually no chance the United States will elect him against any sane human ESPECIALLY if Biden does bring the Pandemic under control and things "improve"

I sincerely hope he tries to do that. There will then be 3 parties in the United States and there is 0 chance that the disgraced ex President, he who shall not be named, will win.
There are virtually no scenarios left where #45 can mount a comeback and actually win. Even if he escapes disqualification in the senate, I think there is a high chance he recaptures the GOP nomination but even lower chance he can win outright compared to 2020. A younger electorate and a complete fracture of the GOP will guarantee that.
Either way the next 4 years will not be good for him
The new president will not persecute trump because he can't risk further division in the country. Remember there were 75 million republican voters .. If trump goes ahead with setting up his own party then the Republican party will kill him off themselves since he will be splitting those votes.

Perhaps and hope you are right...but I won't write off Trump so quickly....latest mood seems to be the Dems ain't going to get the 17 GOP required to convict Trump at the senate trial...no doubt Mitch McConnell would like to get rid of Trump...but the polls still show that an overwhelming majority of GOP voters still support Trump...so it still looks to be a very hard task in the near future...just look at GOP house leader Kevin Mccarthy...before 6th Jan he was all for Trump...then just after 6th Jan he said Trump bore some responsibility for the insurrection at the Capitol and acknowledged that Biden was the legitimate winner...he even suggested a censure for Trump to Pelosi... but now, Mccarthy has suddenly turned to back Trump once again and said Trump was not responsible for 6th Jan...its all about them 74m votes that Trump got on 3rd Nov...I sincerely hope he tries to do that. The only way I see Trump getting convicted at the senate impeachment trial is if the evidence put forward is so bad and nasty to at least get the more moderate Trump supporters to finally come to their senses and realise at long last that Trump is totally unfit to hold the POTUS office.
I don't think the republicans can ever win again. The Dominion voting system n mail in ballots will see to thatI am going to be engrossed in it. Its a really tough decision for Mitch McConnel. What does he do?, give into the fear of losing voters or does he ban Donald J Trump from ever trying to take over the Republican Party again?
Unfortunately, as you are well aware, the 74 Million or so votes, even with dwindling support might just force him to give in.
HOWEVER, if he does do that, then he is "Aquitting" Donald J Trump and that WILL come back to bite him in 2022 and 2024 if Donald J Trump decides to run again.

Why then did the GOP actually do well in the Congressional elections on 3rd Nov which used the very same ballots as the one for the POTUS election?
If the 2020 POTUS was really rigged, you would have thought the Dems would have rigged the 2020 Congressional elections as well since both elections used the very same ballots.
So why different results?
Answer...plain, simple and clear...because there was actually NO fraud and NO rigging...the elections were free and fair...even endorsed by Trump's man AG Bill Barr(sadly by speaking the truth, Barr had to leave early)...
There was no time to fill in the down ballots. N why are some areas having 110 percent voter turn out? Why are more absentee ballots returned than being sent out? Why were Republicans poll watchers being denied access to counters n allowed to verify votes? Why were the lamestream media banning all reference to fraud? Why hide it if its false? Did not the democrazies claim the election was rigged in 2016? N now no fraud? Why did ex AG Barr flipped? Because he is part of the swamp. Why did the judges all side with the fraudsters? Because they were bought n did not want to jeopardise their careers.
As long as the people on the ground the voters all openly follow and vote for these candidates, the country will remain divided. The numbers ARE lower, but the base is still there. You can gauge this by watching the politicians. McCarthy got so many death threats when he said the mob was incited he reversed tack and now went back into denial mode.
