For the people who don't know. The one holding the kid is a Serial Killer who kills entire Familys and their pets. The Father only said that because the Killer has childhood trauma where his Grandmother was doing that to him. The Father hoped it would trigger his trauma and his son would have a greather chance to survive if the killer thought the kid is a victim of his Father, like he was to his Grandmother.
