The U.S. hasn't offered specifics. Trump’s national security adviser, Mike Waltz, said the attacks have “taken out key Houthi leadership, including their head missileer.”

U.S. airstrikes targeting Yemen’s Houthi rebels pounded sites across the country into Monday, with the group saying the one attack in the capital killed at least one person and wounded more than a dozen others.

The American strikes entered its 10th day without a sign of stopping, part of a campaign by U.S. President Donald Trump targeting the rebel group that threatens maritime trade and Israel while also trying to pressure Iran, the Houthis’ main benefactor.

So far, the U.S. has not offered any specifics on the sites it is striking, though Trump’s national security adviser Mike Waltz claimed the attacks have “taken out key Houthi leadership, including their head missileer.” That’s something so far that’s not been acknowledged by the Houthis, though the rebels have downplayed their losses in the past and exaggerated their attacks attempting to target American warships.

“We’ve hit their headquarters,” Waltz told CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “We’ve hit communications nodes, weapons factories and even some of their over-the-water drone production facilities.”

An apparent U.S. strike Sunday hit a building in a western neighborhood of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, killing at least one person and wounding 13 others, the rebel-controlled SABA news agency said, citing health officials. Footage released by the rebels showed the rubble of a collapsed building and pools of blood staining the gray dust covering the ground.

A building next to the collapsed structure still stood, suggesting American forces likely used a lower-yield warhead in the strike.

Yemen's Huthi rebels said one person had been killed and 13 others injured in strikes late Sunday March 23, on the capital Sanaa that they blamed on the United States.

The Houthis also described American airstrikes targeting sites around the city of Saada, a Houthi stronghold, the Red Sea port city of Hodeida and Marib province, home to oil and gas fields still under the control of allies to Yemen’s exiled central government.

The campaign of airstrikes targeting the rebels, which killed at least 53 people immediately after they began March 15, started after the Houthis threatened to begin targeting “Israeli” ships again over Israel blocking aid entering the Gaza Strip. The rebels in the past have had a loose definition of what constitutes an Israeli ship, meaning other vessels could be targeted as well.

not considered a success as they have a multi headed hydra in leadership. one head down, 6.9 heads rise up to take over.

The U.S. government has formally accused Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co. Ltd., a Chinese company of assisting Houthi rebels in Yemen. The company is allegedly providing satellite information to Houthi forces, which is being used to coordinate attacks on U.S. warships and international vessels in the Red Sea. This intelligence was confirmed by the U.S. State Department on April 17, 2025.

There is no declaration of war on the houthis made by the Congress so we can deduce that this is US Terrorism on a small impoverished country.

not considered a success as they have a multi headed hydra in leadership. one head down, 6.9 heads rise up to take over.

In dealing with the mythical hydra dragon or in its practical forms which only harms Humankind, should Humanity live on knees, & see their loved ones being held hostage, tortured or slaughtered?

It takes far greater courage & intelligence to stand up to the mythical hydra dragon in many forms today, then just surrender, which NO Earthborn Human gifted with life & more is to live.

So WHAT if the 'hydra dragon' grows another head?

Have we Humankind NO weapons, tech or negotiations skills, uplifting wholesome education, fair opportunities in life, etc, to take down EACH head the hydra dragon grows, to save Humanity, as our ancient ancestors had done to give us todays, either from natural or man-made sources?

Do know - the FIGURATIVE FEAR that many others used is only merely a dragon with 7 heads, BUT Humankind is 7 BILLION with STRONG & INNOVATIVE heads. How could we lose & grovel before such limited monstrosity in whatever form it takes?

Take the end of piracy on the high seas for trade as an example in the 18th century. Adventurous as it may seem, it was only the captains of ships & its funders that became wealthy thru crime but sailors treated as slaves- fully expendable with whips or even a toss into the shark filled seas....

Eventually, notorious as the black flag of skull & skeletons hoisted upon ships, they were eventually ELIMINATED, which resulted in trade & progress for ALL Humankind, over time & even centuries for our todays.....

On a deeper level of mental & philosophical musings that many if not most would not understand but perused over centuries since the dawn of civilization. more so on this significant Easter day - how would Humankind be able to differentiate between what is good without bad that had been proven detrimental to Humanity's progress & evolution?

Humankind were not placed on Earth as robots, as most would know robots DO HAVE limited abilities. It is Biological Humans, born out of love, flawed as we ALL are, but with abilities to acknowledge mistakes & correct them to move forward, with even yet unknown abilities in both mental & physical abilities that will take is to the stars & manage, to fulfill the manifest destiny of Humankind.....
