Dr Ang is right, & like I said before, YOU CAN'T JUST WALK INTO WP & SAY U WANNA JOIN EM AS MEMBER.
You need to volunteer for at least 1-3 yrs before you are offered membership.
Having just started his Health Talk in MParade, Dr Ang will need one to three more years before he is accepted into WP.
You will hear more on the talk schedule soon.

Paul Tambiyah will also be volunteering for WP & you will hear more soon.

In addition to Paul & Ang, 2 other former SDP CEC will be granted WP membership this Jun if all goes well....

I think WP knows refugees who quit other parties can no longer be rejected outright.
They must be offered a chance to be a volunteer for 1-3yrs, like all aspiring members/candidate before they r evaluated for membership/candidacy/cadre.

IF WP just reject em without giving em a chance to volunteer to prove their mettle again, these rats will end contesting against WP in future & worst hold bigger personal grudges against WP.

i must admit that my source is secondary, so you may have more accurate info, what I know is you cant just goto another grc to organise event

if Dr Ang is not a member yet, then maybe you shouldnt announce to the whole, if you info is true, you are just tipping off PAP, if the info is false you are just creating false hope and expectation, hope you can be more discreet

yes, these doctors are very smart and clever but their medical skills and knowledge is not transferable unlike engineers's problem solving skills...

look at SDP cock healthcare plan where their big solution is free, govt will pay by raising taxes.... the plan was so bad... you do not device a national health care plan mean for every1 by just catering to the bottom 5% ...

I am bery wary of well intentioned doctors stepping into public policy, they usually do not know what the fuck is going and people are too intimidated to them to fuck off....

U r always discouraged fm volunteering in more than 1 ward.
There's peeps who tried to help in more than 1 & I can assure u they will be pushed aside soon & will neber be made a member, cadre, CEC & candidate or e inner circle.

So, what u know is limited to just that ward; sufficient enuf to enable to perform ya job.
That's e key to WP's strategy to limit what u know in case there's another secret squirrel.

Unless u r in e inner circle or know e person directly, chances r, u will not know who's who in where & what is he/she doing for his/her career, & e party.

If he hadn't stood for the PE, I'm sure he would have been given a chance like Michelle Lee and Ang Yong Guan. At least the latter two are emotionally more stable, they carried themselves very well, were not associated with any negative SDP rhetoric, etc, so there is ample time to "reform" their image to bring them in line.

Unfortunately by contesting PE, WP will be very hesistant to take TJS even as an ordinary member (which of course he will never accept, as a former PE candidate he will only accept an immediate CEC post at the very minimum). As LTK would say ... "dao bu tong, bu siang wei mou"....

TJS tried WP. LTK's rule is that you enter WP work for at least 3 years before he allows you to run for MP. TJS said I want to be MP now! LTK said sorry, not allowed.

Other way around too TJS wont want to talk to the likes of LTK as TJS is trapped in his own world. I "served and know government and civil service matters, why should i talk to a heartlander like you?"
