amber light timers
FEEDBACK NUMBER: 20210106-0351

We received your email of 6 January 2021.

We would like to share that the amber interval for our traffic light timing islandwide is a standard 3 seconds. The exclusive function of the Amber intervalis to warn traffic of an impending change in the right-of-way assignment. Therefore, motorists should prepare to stop when they see the amber lights.
For the safety of all road users, motorists are advised to adhere to the speed limit, slow down when they approach traffic junctions and prepare to stop when the lights change to amber.

We thank you for writing in.
Yours sincerely

only 3 seconds (in the USA its 4-5 seconds) amber light, if the junction is big then usually you will be caught in no man's land when the lights turn amber
knn never answer the question why cant put timers on amber lights

so guys, beware

What’s the rush?

LTA should impound all vehicles that don’t respect the yellow box, ban the motorist for life if they run a red light or causes an accident if it results in an injury/death or damage of public property.

LTA should also go all out to make sure folks keep left unless overtaking on the highway. Too much fucking nincompoops on the roads these days.

This is good income contributed by fuckup drivers. Fine them and fuck their mother too.

What did I tell you about an escalation of frivolous fines to replenish the depleted govt coffers? Smokers please beware too.

KNN my uncle say appeal what KNN those appealing should have their fine doubled KNN appeal once more license revoke KNN in order to get driving license my uncle already told them whenever leech 3rd arrow from traffic light pedal to be leeleased glide and be ready brake when light turn Amber KNN simple instructions also cannot follow should not be issued a driving license KNN

Driving in Sinkieland has lost its appeal to me. Too many cars, too many traffic cams and too many assholes with in-vehicle cams. But I had my fun during the 60s, 70s, 80s. 90s.

I think your uncle is slightly younger than me. But just like him, I've had S plate cars too. MGA in the mid 60s (bought used), Alfa 1750 and even a Celica ST in the 70s (with no aircon!). The 80s were fun, bought a few Jap cars. Mazda 323 GT and the Corolla GT were the most memorable, plus a Golf GTi. Yes the Honda ESI 3dr was a great car, very chio with good performance.

Cars were cheaper those days lah. Modding cars can be expensive and can't recoup money. But it is shiok! At least your uncle and I had our fun!

This one i sappork lta. Other offences like illegal park, stop in yellow box etc are just nuisances. Beat read light is life and death.

Drivers have it hard these days, because of many enthusiast cyclists hogging the first lane. Those full kit wankers, Tour de France wannabes.

Plenty of them on weekends. Usually ang mohs, but many local Sinkies these days too. You're not sure whether to overtake them or follow behind them.

Sometimes an entire 'convoy' of cyclists occupy the first lane.
