And because of this, flaws are allowed to linger and as time goes on, it gets bigger and bigger, just like the Christians suffered in the dark ages, until it burst and new understanding emerges such as nationalism, secularism that caused religion to be questioned and controlled by a higher authority, in the british case, by the monarchy.

You have to interpret using muslims's context. All muslims believe the koran is perfect and uncorrupted as opposed to the bible which they believe is corrupted. If there is any wrong, blame or fault, it has nothing to do with the koran.


The koran is perfect, so it cannot be changed or be at fault. In reality, the actions and behaviors of muslims are heavily influenced by their holy texts.

It cannot be ignored that the overwhelming % of violent terrorist attacks have carried out in the name of Islam. This has caused a belief in the West and even within the govts of Muslim countries that there is a link between religious killings of non-Muslims and the teachings of Islam. Most Western scholars prefer to view extremist violence as a perversion of Islam, and that moderate believers are more peaceful and tolerant. Western govts have repeated time and again that the war against terrorism is a war against evil - Islam.
