From there they connect a flight to Singapore.
On The Passenger Arrivals list provided by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
it shows the flight from Doha not India.

At the time of this post, flight SQ8049 is about to land at Changi Airport. It took off from Mumbai at 9.35am India time.... 7.05am SG time.

On Thursday (6 May), The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has debunked a video on social media alleging that a large group of South Asian passengers had arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 1 on the day before.
In a Facebook post, the Authority noted that the video—first published on the Singapore Incidents Facebook page on Wednesday (5 May) at 9:42 pm—is misleading and was not actually taken on that day.
A watermark on the video implied that it was shot on 5 May while a shot of a clock shows that it is 2:53 pm.
CAAS rebutted, “No flights from South Asia had arrived at Terminal 1 in the early afternoon of 5 May 2021.”

There was a flight from India transferred at Dhaka arrived in Singapore on that day.
