There is no flooding in SG, only ponding and draining

A luxury car in S'pore costs as much as a HDB flat, so those who are able to afford them would not want their precious belonging to be submerged in water from "ponding".
Flooding in Singapore is 小意思。 I want to see 滅頂 flooding.

I prefer to see ordinary cars 滅頂, cars which are owned by people who struggle to pay COEs and monthly instalments. These are the 膨風水雞 and after 滅頂 I want to see they kanna interviewed by CNA.

Why do you resent marginal car owners who may want to own a vehicle because they have young children or elderly parents to ferry, but are barely able to afford it?

I don't resent anyone who owns a vehicle or needs a vehicle for whatever reasons. If we assume that a luxury car is owned by a person who can well afford the car, then the damage is just 9 cows 1 hair to the person. The interview will not be interesting at all.

That isn't necessarily true. I am a salaried professional who owns a Lexus ES300h sedan (not a high performance Lamborghini Revuelto or an entry level Hyundai Avante), but I would be gutted if my car is flood-damaged.

The more things you owned, the more things you have to worried and managed..what is the point? Spend money to buy things and then to give yourself more work to do?

Just like the more pussies you deal with, the more headache and the more issues you have to handle..why give yourself more things to do? Not very intelligent leh.

The potential benefits of owning something must outweigh the possible drawbacks to justify the expenditure.

How can owning material object that is a depreciating liability can have any benefits ? And you have to use energy and effort to manage and spend money to maintain it plus to worry if anything will happen to it.

As a car owner for the past 25 years after relying on public transport for the initial years after graduation, it is difficult to put a price on comfort and convenience for me and my loved ones.

When I was a young father ferrying my children to their grandparents' house, kindergarten, primary school, clinic etc., I never considered my car a luxury, but a godsend on stormy mornings when the rain was relentless.

Tomorrow I'm going to Marina. Got flood or not tomorrow ? If got flood, then I must drive one of my special collections:
