Boon Lay's poor signal

<!-- by line --><!-- end by line -->

I HAVE lived in Boon Lay for the past five years and during the past two to three years my SingTel mobile reception has been poor. I used to have a 2G line and often had dropped calls or worse, no connection at all.
This happens when I am at home. As I explored, it even happens in open spaces and I have to use the phone like a signal set in the army.
I have complained to SingTel at least six times, sometimes with response, sometimes without. One time, SingTel acknowledged it had problems with the 2G network. I was assured that if I changed to a 3G card and phone, there would be no problem.
When my contract was up, I went to the new SingTel shop in Jurong Point and asked it it could ensure that 3G lines were stable in Boon Lay. Again I was assured. I re-contracted for another two years. To my horror, there was no signal, even right in front of the SingTel shop in Jurong Point.
And I still could not get a signal at home. I could speak only on the balcony. How mobile is my mobile phone!
In my most recent complaint to SingTel, I managed to contact the customer care manager whose answer was: Sign on to the 2G network.

This cock sinkie, if you have problems with the company, you should change company if your contract is up. He still stick with the same one.

Now you know why sinkies loves to have their ass screwed again and again even though the govt treat them unfairly.

Please tell him which company is not government linked then.

This has nothing to do with govt pink company. It is about his sinkie behavior of sticking to the same company's service after he is screwed.

This is a real fucked uped situation in S'pore. Why are 3 GLC owned mobile phone companies doing business at the same time? Isn' one enough? Isn't the govt. "competing" with itself? 3 different companies means 3 different BODs, 3 different sets of employees, 3 overheads, etc. And all own by the govt. How much more inefficient can u get?
