The English-American rock supergroup is composed of vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), the famous guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham (son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater).

Mad Season brought together members of Seattle rock royalty. We're talking about Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin, and bassist John Baker Saunders of The Walkabouts.

In 2009, Jack White (The White Stripes/The Raconteurs) teamed up with The Kills' singer Alison Mosshart, Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita, and The Raconteurs' bassist Jack Lawrence. The Dead Weather released three studio albums.

Formed in the mid '80s, The Firm brought together some of the greatest musicians of the time. They were singer Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company), guitarist Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), bassist Tony Franklin, and Chris Slade (Manfred Mann's Earth Band).

Imagine Van Halen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Joe Satriani together. Chickenfoot got close! They were Van Halen's singer Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony, with RHCP's drummer Chad Smith, and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani.
