The Dave Lee (Corporal F.C.) Thread

Did the accused NCOs and Officers went to the wake to pay their last respect to CPL FC Lee ?

The whistleblower has been threatened. Original Facebook post taken down. Fuck the SAF!
No matter. His post is reposted at a lot of other websites. Public outcry is making the SAF very nervous now. And rightly so.

Next, whistleblower will be forced to retract and issue new statement

If not , he will have to appear before the Select Committee for a grilling by Shan.

Unless he has the balls of Mr Milner and the guile of Leong Sam, he 'd likely to wither under the relentless hounding of Shan.

U are right bro. Why PAP did not buy insurance for sinkie for $1M.

Time to stand up against PAP topple useless CAQ before he retire my arse... world first CAQ BG army.

Need a revolution before more grandsons of ours died for nothing. 3 generations of suffering NSF as cheap PAP slaves is enough...
Who did this Singkie n his parents vote for?

Next, whistleblower will be forced to retract and issue new statement

now SAF issue statement to claim that precautionary measures were taken woh...

take temperature before the march, water parade...

Shan has proven himself to be a one trick pony. Easy to call his bluff already.

All he does is rephrase your arugement and twist it to his positition vs an alternative ludicrous position and force you into a yes/no situation.

Anyone with an IQ higher than 99 will be able to withstand his barrage.

And if all else fails, just distract him with some clevage.

If not , he will have to appear before the Select Committee for a grilling by Shan.

"In an act of heroic courage, NSF Tan pulls himself from the brink of certain death. Braving a torrent of icy, bone-chilling water, he did not flinch in the face of duty and endured all night. By day break, a miracle emerged as his strength returned.

"He's alive!" Exclaimed the MO.

"9am!" Tan rejoiced as he glanced at the clock.

*The end*

I almost died too in full time NSF.

2nd last week of my ROD has to do live firing and get heat stroke. Then has to take my leaves and stay home. My temperature was 42 and has to rush back to camp MO. Almost fainted and died on way to camp.

Got send to camp MO sick bay and given only panadol and lie in bed.

Because next day was my ROD tulan not wanting to stay even 1 day in camp I went to shower and pit head on running water to cool my head temperature. Go back to bed sleep and then got wake up to taje panadol and tulan go to shower put my head on the running water again.

Repeat this all night. Next day temperature dropped back to normal and get fuck out of camp before 9 am.

Shocked MO that take 1 night only to get temp 42 down to normal. Hero.

Fuck hated PAP for the rest of my life...

Who did this Singkie n his parents vote for?
They assumed PAP would protect their son.

WP supports NS.

But what if SDP and others weren't contesting in the parent's constituency? How could they vote for non-NS parties then?

Another damage control action to appease the SAF soldiers and public's outcry.

SINGAPORE: In a letter sent to SAF soldiers on Thursday (May 3), Army Chief BG Goh Si Hou sought to reassure his men that the army will ascertain the facts behind the death of full-time National Serviceman Dave Lee.

The 19-year-old died on Monday, almost two weeks after he was hospitalised with signs of heat injury upon completing an 8km fast march on the morning of Apr 18. He was taken to Bedok Camp’s medical centre and later admitted to Changi General Hospital, but his condition worsened.

"Many of you would have read online allegations about the circumstances that led to this grave incident," BG Goh said in the letter seen by Channel NewsAsia.

"We do not have all the facts yet, and there is no point in speculation. Trust that our Army is conducting thorough investigations, as we take all major training incidents seriously. We will ask honest questions of ourselves," he added.

"We have also convened an independent Committee of Inquiry. As a public institution, we must ensure accountability. Equally important, trust that our Army will be fair. We will back our commanders and trainers up, as long as we do our job in line with sound regulations, and anchored on our values," BG Goh said.

He said that the army will strengthen its safety system, to ensure that soldiers can "train realistically and train safely".
"Where we find that we have fallen short, we are determined to strengthen and enforce safety purposefully – more so when we have lost a precious son," he said. "We will be holding a Command Call in the week ahead, to share initial findings and immediate measures we are taking as an Army."

"The Army safety system is not broken," BG Goh stressed. "Otherwise, we would not be able to take civilian soldiers and train thousands of NSFs and NSmen every year, and still manage the inherent risks of military activities."

BG Goh also urged commanders and trainers to protect and restore confidence in the institution, and called on soldiers to continue to do their jobs well.

"We are a citizen Army that is built on public trust and confidence. When that confidence is shaken, we must protect and restore it. And it starts with all our commanders and trainers, who are the touchpoints to our soldiers and, by extension, their families," BG Goh said.

"Take ownership and give confidence to our soldiers, especially our NSFs. Explain our training and safety systems; tell them the Army you know. For we have good systems, and good commanders – many of whom are NSFs themselves. But more than words, through your actions, you will be the most solid proof that we place utmost importance on training safety, and we care for our soldiers," he added.

Any training death is one too many. Dave’s passing will not be forgotten, and must spur us to do better for all our soldiers. We will take a hard look, learn the right lessons, and strengthen our systems."

Corporal First Class Lee will be accorded a military funeral on Saturday.

BG Goh said: "We will honour Dave’s memory and service, and give him a dignified send-off. It is the least we can do. And nothing we can do will truly ease the anguish and loss felt by his parents, in losing their son. This will always be a painful reminder of our duty of care for our soldiers."

Lee enlisted in the army on Jan 5. After completing Basic Military Training in March, he was posted to the 1st Battalion Singapore Guards unit.

Use your head and think. Why would a compatriot soldier risk it all by posting on FB to tell the story of what happened to Dave Lee ? He is still serving in the army. He is either mad or damned stupid if he were telling a lie.

Reservist is more dangerous because more than half the reservists are fat fucks! They are no longer the fit and lean fighting men that they used to be and ought to be. That's why most sinkies end up becoming the white man's bitch in brawls and road rage incidents.

Reservists everywhere are like that. What's your problem?
Preparing to defend sinkapore is a waste of time. Sinkapore is indefensible; we are too small and have no way of sustaining without the cooperation of the larger neighbours. If they want to invade us, there is no way we can repel them. Our firepower will not be able to deter them.

Save your tax dollars and stop the PAP from getting rich from the military spending by putting pressure on government to scrap NS.

It is usually not the system or the procedures that are lacking. After all, SAF has been in existence for the last 50 years. We have the systems. We have the procedures. We have the rules of safety. But often times, it is the non-compliance or the disengaged attitude to compliance that is the main cause of safety hazards and fatality in training.

If personnels are found derelict of duty, will SAF take the hard action of discipline for these personnels? It is important to do it so as to serve as a stern reminder to all those who are in authority and leadership in SAF that they as officers must apply themselves to the highest standard of discipline in ensuring safety and protection to their charges under them.

The problem is with sinkies not exercising enough after NS. The problem is with our NSMen getting owned in brawls against foreigners. It gives the SAF a very bad name. Sinkies, with their 2 years of NS, should be lethal fighting machines with lots of dirty tricks up their sleeves when it comes to a brawl.
