Please just name one (instead of having a top 5 or 10) and tell us the reasons.

My all-time favourite movie is: The Sting

Starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford, this movie is about 2 con-men who conduct their greatest ever con on a gangster, who had ordered a hit on one of their friends.
An interesting plot, fast moving, great acting, with a catchy theme song "The Entertainer", this movie has everything including a twist at the end. Everything falls into place and the baddie gets his come-uppance. Newman and Redford in their prime. Very watchable in colour on DVD.

There are other great movies, but tis is my all-time favourite. :p

My favourite movie is ALIENS, because i enjoy the movie so much.

You go finish drink your mother's milk than talk ok?

Can it be your favourite movie if you don't enjoy it? Trying to make your sentences look longer izit:confused::rolleyes:

My favourite movie is ALIENS, because i enjoy the movie so much.

My all time favourite would be " I came from Ho Chi Minh" 我来自胡志明。

It's a Hong Kong Cat III movie and one of the scene in that movie had the male lead seducing and fucking the female lead while they were peeping at another couple making out in the public. That scene never fails to arouse me when I think about it. It got to a point when I had to meet with another samster in the sister forum to pass me the CD as I had lost mine. That was the one and only time I met with someone from the forum. I can't remember that brother's nick but I remembered he stay in potong pasir( that's where I met him) and he is one of the super old bird in the sister forum. Wondering if he is around here as well :D

SAW. Because I like the twist, one of the best plot I've ever seen.
Another movie is HOSTEL, because Im amazed by the movie director's gore idea.
Overall I like gore n twisted pic. Bros here maybe u have seen any better than this two pls share with me. Greatly appreciate.

This is a very tough question as most favourite movies are quite forgettable after watching once or twice. However, to make life easier for me to choose, I would think most of James Cameron's films were successful and can be watched more than once like TERMINATOR, ALIEN, TITANIC, AVATAR because I just love SCI FICTION.

City of God a Brazilian movie that I managed to see years back... Movie focussed on the crimes and the lives of the people living in those Brazilian slums famously called Favelas... Drug wars between corrupted Cops and the slum residents, sex, shootouts, the movie have it all... One of the best movie of the decade..

Mine is Edward Fox _ Day of Jackal, got free time now and then will take it out to watch

If can name 5 or 10 then there are 4 or 9 more to name

My all time favorite is the Shawshank Redemption, Tim Robbins & Morgan Freeman. Excellent!

1) "The Hunt for Red October" - Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, etc - the chase thru the canyons, the gamble etc

2) "Sixth Sense" - Bruce Willis, etc

3) "Aliens" - Sigourney Weaver

4) "Fishing Village to 1st World" - 2013 release

The Gods Must Be Crazy.

Simple. Low budget. Ordinary people. Funny as hell. Star of the movie doesn't even speak a language I understand. Laughed a great deal.

Cheers!

Uncle scroobal, one movie only leh. Good to narrow it down to just one.

My fav is 神探 directed by Johnnie To.

Tough call but she tilted the balance to make it my all-time favourite. :D >>>>

That would have been second or third for me.
Morgan Freeman is possibly my favourite actor, I even thought his performances in Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty were great. Other hit movies he starred in included Driving Ms Daisy, Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby.
