April New Year a brilliant idea
<!-- by line --><!-- end by line -->
<!-- end left side bar --><!-- story content : start -->I REFER to Monday's report, 'Celebrating the New Year in April'. It is a novel way to celebrate the New Year of so many cultures and races. Kudos to the organising committee for a brilliant idea to bring the many foreign workers together to bond and build a bridge of friendship among the different communities and the locals.
The activities planned will give Singaporeans and their families another avenue to spend their weekends together and to get to know the diverse cultures of other countries.
Stalls can also be set up to promote the various food and handicraft from each country. It will create a carnival atmosphere for all to soak in the boisterous occasion.
